relaxation

Hey all Just listened to the relaxation exercise.  The guys voice is so soothing but I am unset that he seems to be speaking to a guy " loosen you belt or your tie".  The tape was relaxing and I did feel energized when I was done.  The background music pinging did nothing for me.  K

  1. Hi Kat,
You make a great point about the commentator directing the actions to a man, you know I did not even think about that. I really felt better after listening to it also. I have you ever listened to exercises like this before?

  3. That is true on how he referred to just men. I never realized until you stated something and thought back.

  4. I am not sure if the exercise was meant to be geared toward men more than women or if that was just the way it came across. I did find the exercise to be helpfuland I did feel refreshed afterward. I hope everyone else has a good experience with it as well. After you get past the little things it can be very relaxing.

    1. Unit 2 -Stephanie, I did get to relax a little with the voice and the background music. I just need to get the family out of space to really benefit from the exercise. soon K

  5. Unit 3 well-being
Reflecting my daily life my physical score is about a 6 but at times can feel like a 2. Physically I need to improve my exercise and eating habits. I have been trying to make it to the gym at least 2-3 times a week. The food has been harder to work with but I am trying to get different food information.
The next is spiritual well-being, a 5, this can take on many connotations. My own path is geared toward more introspection. I am working on meditation. The psychological aspect is about a 5 as well. I am still seeking the peace and quiet that frees my brain while keeping clarity in front. This has been fortified through conscious effort to unclutter my life - one day at a time.
